“The Witnesses” are a series that was conceived during 2017 and 2018. Displayed as a unique panel it shows 9 black and white humanoid figures. The work strongly refers to the loss of empathy and an ongoing threat of becoming numb and petrified witnesses of our own emotional destruction. A motive referring to existential questions in a modern society is well incorporated in this and other works of Haračić.
